Most flattering color for yellow toned skin?

I just recently dyed my hair a honey-ish color. The more that I look at it, the more orange it looks. I couldnt stress enough to my hair stylist that I want it a light ash brown. I want to go back and have her fix it but i dont know what to do next. Does honey even look flattering? I have blue eyes with green and yellow flecks and pretty pale skin, some pink in it too. My natural hair color is a medium brown with reddish tones in it. Also i'm afraid to have dry brittle hair. What are some good products for that?
