Carne guisada recipe?

I know I could just go look it up online-- but I want to know which one YOU use, and if your family LOVES it. The kind I'm used to eating is usually just meat, maybe some small onions and that red sauce stuff. My husband LOVES mexican food and misses him mommas cooking-- so I'm trying to get a few good recipes of my own together! (She won't share hers-- if I make it, why would he go home? Lol )
