Going to take a road trip up the California coast starting from Las Vegas to Santa Barbara ending at S. F.?

We took a very similar trip last summer, starting in SF; down the coast to Imperial Beach; across Arizona to the Painted desert, petrified forest, Grand Canyon then to Las Vegas. From Vegas we went to Death Valley; Mammoth Lakes and into Yosemite. From Yosemite, back to SF and home. We spent 14 days and stayed in most places 2 or 3 days.
