Any hints or tips to keeping a marine aquarium?

I'm going to be purchasing a 3 foot marine tank I'm a newbie anyone got any hints or tips how to maintain,look out for danger signs etc.I will be keeping clownfish and blue regals (juveniles) thnx :)
