What does it say about our culture that I am uncomfortable disclosing my religous beliefs to upper management?

I would have angrily torn it up and ask the secretary to put it in her waste paper basket and demand that if anyone else leaves such material, to report it to you right away, I mean because secretaries are meant to administer afterall, rather than gossip and do bugger all.
